Scavenger Hunt Sunday 3.25.12

1. Whimsy
Katniss. So sweet and whimsical.

2. Create
Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made;
and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. -Genesis 2:1,2

3. Dust
Wow, I didn't realize how dusty my dresser was. I can see little kitty pawprints!
As a result of this prompt, I dusted our entire bedroom.

4. Sprout
Mid-March is usually rainy and windy here in New York.
This year, though, it's been warm and humid. We are in for a short spring and a hot summer.

5. Drop
I made hubs stand outside and drop this squishy thingie over and over.
This is the best shot I got before he became totally bored.

Scavenger Hunt Sunday 3.18.12

1. Vintage
I didn't apply any vintage processing to this photo (rather, more of a subtle retro look). But this opera house was built in 1869, which makes it pretty darn old!

2. Word or Quote
This was on the wall at a tea shop that I went to with my parents.

3. Nature's Own
Nature's own lesson in humility.
There is no respect for others without humility in one's self.
Henri Frederic Amiel

4. People
Does one person count?
My best friend and her boyfriend came over this week for a lesson in aperture.

5. Photog's Choice
The water droplets on the lid of my steamer made for a cool photo op!

Scavenger Hunt Sunday 3.11.12

I am so happy to be doing SHS again after a few weeks off! Now that I have my own DSLR, I am going to try to do it as often as possible.

1. Water
My matching water bottle and coffee mug. Jon has a matching pair with brown instead of pink.

2. Light
I love sunflare and sunbursts!

3. Chocolate
A handful of M&M's will always put me in a good mood.

4. Animal
The only animal that really matters to me. Katniss!

5. Crowded
The scene at the Heart Walk registration table on Saturday was quite a crowd!
